Our aim is to achieve zero work related injuries and illness where our equipment is in use and within our own organisation.


NEPEAN Conveyors (incorporating Nepean Shared Services) offer complete conveying system solutions and support services to the mining and resource segments.


At NEPEAN Conveyors we are committed to the continual improvement of our safety management system performance through utilising a risk based approach and promoting a culture of protecting the welfare of our employees, visitors and key stakeholders.


This commitment ensures compliance to applicable legal obligations and other requirements central to our operating philosophy.


The NEPEAN Conveyors Safety Management System supports this commitment by:


Responsibility and Accountability

Defining, documenting and communicating Workplace Health and Safety responsibilities and accountabilities for managers, supervisors, employees, contractors, sub-contractors and visitors.


Systems and Procedures

Planning, developing, maintaining and improving systems, policies and procedures to prevent accidents and ill health while providing suitable duties and catering for the rehabilitation of injured employees.



Fostering open and constructive communication and consultation between all levels of management and employees in order to maximise the development of systems and procedures.


Education and Training

Providing appropriate education and training to all levels of management and employees.



Ensuring that NEPEAN Conveyors have management systems which will ensure compliance to applicable statutory legislative requirements, and identify, control and monitor the Workplace Health and Safety risks associated with the business. Resources commensurate with this commitment will be made available.


We will communicate the requirements of this policy to all personnel including key stakeholders and measure success through the setting of objectives and targets.
